Parking in Calpe: zones, times and prices (2026)

In Calpe you pay to park in the town-centre blue zone, at €1.10 an hour from Monday to Saturday, and, from 1 June to 30 September, in the orange zone by the beaches, at €1.45 an hour every day. Outside those streets and hours, and in the blue zone on Sundays and public holidays, parking is free.
Information from Calp Town Council and the parking operator, checked on 14 October 2026 (sources at the end). Prices can change: the meter and the app always show the current rate.
Which streets are blue zone and which are orange zone?
The current service started on 9 December 2025 and has two zones:
- Blue zone, about 920 spaces: streets such as Corbeta, Ejércitos Españoles, Alemania, Europa, Valencia, Málaga and Madrid, plus the area around the health centre (Centro de Salud).
- Orange zone, about 1,135 spaces, by the beaches: streets such as Dinamarca, Gran Bretaña, Italia, Luxemburgo, Denia and Xàbia, plus the car park on Calle Xàbia.
On each street, the signs and road markings are what count; if in doubt, check the nearest meter.
When do you have to pay?
- Blue zone, 1 October to 31 May: Monday to Friday, 9:00–14:00 and 16:00–19:00; Saturday, 9:00–14:00. Sundays and public holidays, free.
- Blue zone, 1 June to 30 September: Monday to Saturday, 9:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00. Sundays and public holidays, free.
- Orange zone, 1 June to 30 September: every day, Sundays and public holidays included, 10:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00.
How much does it cost and how long can you stay?
- Blue zone: €1.10 an hour, up to 3 hours.
- Orange zone: €1.45 an hour, up to 6 hours.
- Once you reach the maximum time, you can't renew your ticket on the same street: you have to move the car to another one.
- With a disabled parking card, up to 180 minutes are free.
- Residents get a reduced rate, which they apply for at the operator's office.
How do you pay?
At the street meters, or from your phone with the free ElParking app, which the council names as a way to pay for the service.
Where can you park for free?
- On streets that are not blue or orange zone, following the signs (yellow lines, garage entrances and loading bays).
- In the blue zone on Sundays and public holidays all year, and outside its hours.
- In the orange zone outside its hours, and from 1 October to 31 May.
Climbing the Peñón de Ifach?
To enter the Penyal d'Ifac Natural Park you have to book in advance on the Generalitat's Natural Parks website («Tramita la reserva»). You can book up to 10 days ahead, there is a limit of 300 people a day and every person needs their own booking.
Neither the park nor the council publishes parking for the visit: plan to park in the streets around the harbour or La Fossa beach, at the foot of the rock, and allow extra time in summer and at weekends.
Three tips for summer
- From 1 June to 30 September, the orange beach zone is also paid on Sundays.
- For a day at the beach, the orange zone allows up to 6 hours; the blue zone, only 3.
- Install the app before you set off so you don't have to look for a meter.
